All of Israel is "under fire", the country's military said, as retaliatory Iranian strikes involving hundreds of ballistic missiles hit the country on Friday evening. The rumble of explosions could be heard throughout Jerusalem, and Israeli TV stations showed plumes of smoke rising in Tel Aviv.
