On the morning of September 11, 2001 Morgan Stanley employee Giovanni Renteria was attending a training seminar on the 64th floor in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. During a short break, Renteria headed to the ground floor and as he was exiting the building noticed a large amount of debris falling from the North Tower. The remnants of American Airlines Flight 11. Rushing back inside the building, Renteria and his fellow co-workers stood in the lobby of the South Tower trying to game plan what to do next.
