Sacramento rocked this week by a public corruption scandal in which the former Chief of Staff for Governor Gavin Newsom was charged for a scheme in which she allegedly siphoned campaign funds from a dormant campaign account of then HHS-secretary, and current gubernatorial candidate, Xavier Becerra. As more details of the twisted investigation become clear, more are being charged in the probe, including Becerra's former Chief of Staff. With more on the scandal, Cher Calvin and Micah Ohlman go "Inside California Politics" with Nikki Laurenzo. On a busy week in Sacramento, Laurenzo also pulls back the curtain on a number of recent campaign launches, including Christine Pelosi for the California State Senate and Senate Pro Tem Mike McGuire's bid for the House of Representatives in a district redrawn in the Prop. 50 special election.
