The Gaddis are a semi-agricultural and a semi-pastoral tribe, predominantly found in Himachal Pradesh. They are shepherds who travel long distances and across various terrains to graze their livestock. We came across a group of Gaddis in Chamba and decided to spend an evening with them. We spoke to them about their work, relationships, lifestyle and life in general. Here's how our day with the Gaddis in Himachal Pradesh went.
