Head over to Vinai in Minneapolis for some of the best Hmong food in the U.S. Chef-owner Yia Vang opened the restaurant in July, and was recently recognized as one of Eater's Best New Restaurants of 2024. Named after the refugee camp Yang was born in, Vinai is an ode to his parents' story of tenacity and courage while living there for 10 years after escaping Laos in the aftermath of the Secret War.
