Here’s how I’m investing my tax refund 🤑 I received my biggest tax refund ever this year - ~$12,500! If you want to hear the BTS of how this happened, check out our most recent YouTube video (and if you want the TLDR… I contributed a lot of money to my registered investment accounts this year, and was able to reduce my taxable income). Remember that tax refunds aren’t necessarily a good thing - it depends on the situation! Anyways, I decided to invest $10,000, and save ~$2,500 to top up my ‘Other Savings’ account. I also decided to invest the $10,000 as a one time, lump sum investment (if you want the why behind that decision, check out our YouTube video called ‘Dollar Cost Averaging vs Lump Sum Investing, Explained’). Then, the last decision I made was choosing to make this investment inside of my retirement investment account, which brings me very close to maxing it out (yay!).
