Since the day Scotty and I saw our house for the first time I have been dreaming of putting in an IKEA Billy Bookcase and Havsta Wall in our bedroom. I love the idea of being able to display things that bring us joy, see our book collection and have keepsakes and photos take pride of place in our bedroom. This room was dark grey and bare before we took hold of it. I have to say doing these projects with my Dad is one of the greatest joys in my life. Spending time together and working side by side to complete a task is one of our favourite ways to create memories. He truly is such a wonderful person to learn from and spend time with and I am so proud of what we have created this time round. Also I truly couldn't have done this without him! That man has some skills I tell you! I have so many more ideas for this house and even this bedroom if you can believe it! Yes we aren't finished just yet. But for now I hope you enjoy the biggest project I've taken on to date. I'm so proud of it and honestly wake up every morning so grateful to have the opportunity to do something like this. The gratitude I feel for owning a house and being able to make it our home is truly never lost on me.
