Video Description

Experience the raw power and unique engineering of the 1924 Delahaye 107 Racer as it roars to life and tackles the GP Mutschellen hillclimb. This extraordinary machine, crafted by Riccardo Beccarelli, is a fusion of vintage automotive design and aviation prowess. Built on an authentic 1924 Delahaye chassis, it houses a 6.2-liter de Havilland Gipsy Major aircraft engine, originally designed for biplanes like the Tiger Moth. The inverted engine setup, with cylinders below the crankcase, posed significant engineering challenges, including adapting the rotation and integrating it into a car chassis. The result is a minimalist, high-performance vehicle that embodies the spirit of early motorsport innovation. Witness this remarkable blend of history and horsepower in action in Switzerland. #vintagecars #custombuild #coolcars #classicracing
