I did use MESEN for the light gun games. 2. I really tried to look at things on a much larger scale than just my personal favorites, but it is still a list of my own preferences. Have fun with it. 3. I honestly can't recall exactly what happened to my original NES. It was most definitely sold to fund something else. I'd say given the timeline, it was either my Sega CD or Turbo CD that caused me to sell it. 4. There is no run 'n' gun section because most of the games that I considered easily fit into other genres. There are a handful but they all pretty much pale in comparison next to Contra and Super C. For this reason, I didn't want a winner by merit of simply existing.
