The inbuilt monitor in cameras is usually terrible when shooting videos. A dedicated video monitor can also be VERY EXPENSIVE! So a better and cheaper option is to use your smartphone as a camera monitor. In this video, I will show you how! ◄The Parts I Use In This Video► (some parts are not exactly the same that I use. You can use Wi-Fi or use a capture card an OTG cable and an HDMI cable to connect the camera to the phone. The con with using the WI-FI is that you can control the camera but usually you get more latency and it's only working if your camera is supporting that function. Using the other method works on all cameras that have an HDMI output. Making a DIY video monitor for around 30-40 bucks is a good deal.
