Composed of durable lead free brass and featuring a full-flow design for maximum water output, SharkBite fittings can be used with any combination of copper, PEX, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes, and feature an easy push to connect design to allow for quick installation. No crimping, glue, soldering or tools are necessary, simply insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. The MNPT adapter can be easily disassembled using a disconnect tool so that fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused (Disconnect tool not included). The MNPT fitting can even be rotated after assembly to allow for easier installation in tight spaces. This MNPT plumbing fitting is a certified manufactured joint which can be installed in wet lines, and for both underground and behind-the-wall applications.
