About this item
- 5/16" hose barb x 5/16" hose barb ball valve (8mm). Recommended for pipe with 5/16" I.D. (5/16" or a little bit smaller).
- The ball valves are mainly used for on-off controlling or flow regulation of water, oil, and gas. Typical usage includes garden irrigation system, piping system, compressor, oil and gas supplying system, hot and cold water systems
- For all types of tubing. Wrap the thread with thread seal tape, then insert the barb into the tubing and secure it with hose clamps.
- If the barb is too large for the tubing, you can dip the tubing into boiling water. A little bit of heat would help to expand the tubing to fit perfectly. Before installing the fitting, it is necessary to shut off the fluid and relieve the pressure completely.
- Mainly made of brass, it is corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant. It has a 90° operating handle and a rubber coating on the outside, making it easier to operate and non-slip.
