Therefore, stimulating the fingers activates the Qi in these channels. This stimulates the mind. There are simple practices, a kind of "pearl," for daily use. One such practice is "36 Tappings for Skillful Hands." This qigong practice is not as widespread as the Eight Pieces of Brocade, for example, but it is quite well known. It is now known as Healing Qigong, but in reality, this complex is a system of soft hand padding for wushu. This complex involves a massage that activates the movement of Qi through the channels. Increased energy flow heals and strengthens the hands. The complex is designed for general toning of the meridians and for the treatment of specific ailments.
