Эта эвакуация оказалась достаточно интересной сразу по нескольким причинам. Во-первых, нам предстояло самостоятельно, без помощи водолазов произвести зацеп под водой. При этом экскаватор не стоял на твёрдом грунте, а завис в паре метров ото дна, опираясь на противовес и стрелу. Во-вторых, своеобразный рельеф в карьере, где мы работали, ограничивал нас в выборе позиции для наших эвакуаторов и заставлял особенно тщательно подбирать и раскладывать такелаж. И в-третьих, упёршаяся в грунт стрела затонувшего экскаватора, которая поначалу скорее помогала нам, ближе к концу эвакуации стала активно мешать, создавая большое сопротивление и не давая экскаватору занять правильное положение для выхода на берег. In this video, you will see the rescue of a 25-ton Sany excavator that was almost totally submerged in one of the sand quarries in the Leningrad Region due to an operator error. This rescue operation turned out to be quite interesting for several reasons. Firstly, we had to attach the towing shackles to the machine from within the frozen water ourselves, without the help of divers. It should be noted that the excavator was not in full contact with solid ground, but was hanging a couple of meters above the bottom, supported by its counterweight and boom. Secondly, the hilly terrain in the quarry where we were working limited our choice of position for our tow trucks and forced us to select rigging especially carefully. And thirdly, we had to do something with the boom of the sunken excavator that had rested on the ground. At first, it rather helped us, but towards the end of the rescue operation it began to actively interfere, creating a lot of resistance and preventing the excavator from taking the correct position to get to the shore.
