أكد المحلل السياسي فيصل عبد الساتر أن "الدروز والعلويين والشـ ـيعة يُعتبرون كِبارًا بنظر الغالبية الحاكمة في سوريا"، مشيرًا إلى وجود "محطة إسـ.. ـرائيلية جهــ ـنمية تهدف إلى ضمّ المناطق حتى ريف دمشق، وصولًا إلى ضم الحفّة الأمامية في جنوب لبنان، والقضاء على القوة الشـ ـيعية، ثم التقدم نحو الداخل السوري". وأضاف أن "المسرح مهيّأ لعملية عسـ ـ ـكرية واسعة في جنوب سوريا قد تصل إلى العمق"، متسائلًا: "ما هي مهام الجـ ـيش اللبناني؟ هل باتت فقط الدخول إلى منشـ ـآت للحـ ـز.ب؟". وأكد عبد الساتر أن "المقـ ..ـاومة جاهزة لأي عـ ـدوان قد تُقدِم عليه إسـ,, ـرائيل، وهي اليوم في وضع أفضل من السابق"، معتبرًا أن "تسليم السـ ـ ـلاح غير وارد حتى الآن، وأن الوقت يسير لصالح المقـ ـاومة". وشدد على أن "الرأي العام اللبناني غير مهتم حاليًا بمسألة نزع السـ ـ ـلاح، بقدر اهتمامه بموضوع المودعين"، وتساءل: "ماذا سيحصل لبعض اللبنانيين إذا توجّهنا نحو إلغاء الطائفية السياسية؟". وتحدث عبد الساتر أيضًا عن "ممر داوود الذي يصل إلى الحدود العراقية"، مشيرًا إلى "لقاء جمع وزير الدفـ ـاع السوري الحالي بأفيخاي أدرعي، الناطق باسم الجيش الإسـ ـرائيلي".
