講者介紹孫中山紀念館原址甘棠第的原主人何甘棠的生平、家庭背景，以及作為混血兒家族一員對20世紀初香港發展的貢獻，旁及有關當年甘棠第的日常用途，從而展現當時上流社會多姿多彩的社交生活。 The speaker introduced the life and family of Ho Kom Tong, the original owner of Kom Tong Hall (the present-day Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum), and as part of the Hong Kong Eurasian community, his contribution to the development of Hong Kong in the early 20th century.
