Going through Nairobi in an open safari truck is an experience of its own! As soon as we arrived at Surana Buffalo Springs which is part of Ashnil Hotels, we were amazing by the unique look of the safari camp. It is very similar looking to your typical desert camp you would find in the middle of Namibia. It is simply stunning. Our room which had it's own plunge pool and a stunning view of the Samburu River, was very spacious and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the bedroom had a good airflow and the shower had quick hot water and great pressure. The main lodge itself had a luxurious feel, with different seating area to relax and have a drink and the food served there was truly fine dinning with more main course option we had ever seen before in any other safari camp. Overall, we have nothing negative to say about this safari camp apart from the fake maple syrup.
