Just helping you find the source!) *About The Video* 🎥 In this video, I combined my mom’s busiest and most overwhelming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in June to show you a *chaotic* weekend in her life. She is the owner of two restaurants in the region of Veneto, Italy. Cooking is her biggest passion and owning these restaurants is her dream come true. She LOVES her job and I’m pretty sure she can be considered a workaholic. My dad, Marty, and I are constantly asking her to slow down and take on fewer responsibilities, but she just cannot. Her urge to work is stronger than anything else. The first restaurant is a cafeteria that we bought over 10 years ago. It is only open for lunch, Monday to Friday, but because the space is very large, we also use it to host private events on weekends. Most of these events are organized by Moldovan and Romanian families, since my mom is originally from Moldova and has many connections within that community in our city. The second restaurant was purchased more recently, about four years ago, and is a more traditional restaurant where guests order from a menu. Many of you have asked for the names and locations, but since my family spends more time there than at home, sharing them feels a bit too much like sharing our home address. To make it easy: - I was born and raised in Northern Italy, in the region of Veneto. - My whole family still lives there (my mom, dad, and little sister Marty). - I moved to Toronto, Canada, at 19 all alone to ✨find myself✨ (spoiler: it didn't work, I got more lost if anything). So now, I live half my life in Italy and half in Canada. Also, my mom is from Moldova (a country in Eastern Europe), and my dad is from Calabria (a region in Southern Italy).
