Choosing to Restore another property was a personal choice. Healing through Renovation and Travel. There will be recipes for healthy living, creations of salves that have helped me heal my tumors over the years and many travel adventures. We will soon be heading to Portugal & Italy for the winter. ABRUZZO ITALY - This morning I ventured out for a peaceful early morning walk around my new found Village of San Martino Sulla Marrucina. I bought my flat sight unseen from a video via Majellacase Real Estate in a village in Abruzzo I had never been before. I had a very very long list of what I was looking for in an apartment for now. The journey around the village was peaceful with birdsong surrounding me at every turn. The Majella mountains tower in the background as I walked quietly amount such glorious nature. I ran into my electrician Sondro dropping off his grand daughter at her school. Then I ran into him again with his dog on his morning walk. Invited to coffee by another resident as I followed him back into the village through the meandering alley ways between the buildings. Also saw Linda who had helped me clean my flat twice. She's amazing and such a lovely human. This evening I decided to journey to the bar to get a coffee. I ran into another neighbor Giuseppe, who I had met before. I was headed to the restaurant Roco and so was he. We shared a meal together. What an incredible hospitable place I have found. An Italian gem. What an adventure . . .
