Having gone to college in New Haven, Adam is well acquainted with the city's slice game, but today he's on a mission to sample some of the unsung heroes of the New Haven pizza scene. Joined by pizza scholar Scott Wiener, Adam eats his way through the menu at West Haven institution Zuppardi's, before heading to the legendary Modern Apizza on State Street. Finally, Adam ends his tour at the Little Rendezvous—a legendary pizzeria in Meriden cooking pies in a 137-year-old oven.
