While Charlie expects an easy job, he quickly finds himself swept up in Frank’s plan to enjoy a final weekend of luxury and indulgence before ending his life. Over the course of the trip, their bond grows as Charlie begins to understand Frank’s pain and dignity. The film explores themes of honor, personal integrity, friendship, and redemption. As Frank indulges in fine food, fast cars, and dancing the tango, Charlie struggles with a dilemma back at school involving a disciplinary hearing that tests his moral compass.
