But the global supply chains for critical components also run through China, which poses a sourcing challenge for companies who custom-build their own. Import bans are already in effect for Pentagon contractors and for first responders in some states. Now after a series of Trump Executive Orders and new bills at the Congressional level, Chinese drones and parts may be soon banned outright, nationally. American farmers and ranchers are now dependent on Chinese-built drones in livestock management and harvesting.
