After nearly getting into a fight with his ex-wife's new boyfriend, Charlie, an ex-ball player turned professional therapist, decides that he needs therapy himself. Complicating matters, the only therapist he trusts is his best friend, Kate- with whom he’s also romantically involved, challenging the ethics of the situation. Anger Management is a comedic series loosely based on the 2003 film of the same name, starring Charlie Sheen as Charlie Goodson, a former baseball player-turned-therapist specializing in anger management. Even as he helps others overcome their issues, Charlie grapples with his own anger struggles.
