Everyone told me I was crazy for buying this car. It's a Ferrari SF90 Stradale... or at least what’s left of one. I found this hypercar rotting away in an old friend's dusty warehouse. It was totaled, covered in rust, and buried under piles of dirt for years. But the price was simply too low to refuse. For the cost of a used family sedan, I bought a 1,000 HP hybrid hypercar. The question is: Did I just score the deal of the century, or did I just set my money on fire for a pile of scrap metal that will never run again? In this video, we attempt the impossible: Bringing this dead Ferrari back to life. The process involves blood, sweat, and a parts bill that will make you cry! Here is exactly what we tackled in this video: Decontamination & Deep Cleaning: We removed over 100lbs (50kg) of dirt, rat nests, and mold from the chassis and interior. We utilized dry ice blasting to clean the engine bay without damaging the sensitive electronics. Bodywork & Rust Removal: The carbon fiber panels had major stress cracks, and the aluminum frame suffered from severe oxidation. We sanded the entire car down, applied industrial rust converters, and repainted it in the original factory Nero Daytona black. Suspension & Undercarriage: Sitting for years destroyed every rubber bushing. We replaced the magnetic shock absorbers and wishbones, and installed brand new wheels as the originals were corroded beyond repair. Hybrid & High Voltage System: The scariest part of the build. The hybrid batteries were completely dead. We had to carefully recondition the High Voltage system to get the front electric motors to sync with the gas engine again. Interior Restoration: The original leather was unsalvageable. We performed a full re-trim using fresh Italian Nappa leather, replaced the base carpets, and restored the sticky buttons and dashboard.
