Hi! I'm Oscar and I created House of History as a passion project back in 2018. The channel has evolved significantly since then, and nowadays we create smooth, manually animated, research-driven documentaries covering everything from the wars of the Ancient World to World War 2. Every map and battle sequence is manually animated. Business inquiries: [email protected] Personal e-mail: [email protected]

Video Description
In 447 AD, Attila and his Huns crossed the Danube in force, tearing through the Balkans and confronting the Eastern Roman army near the River Utus. The battle marked the start of a brutal campaign, one that would push the Roman Empire to the brink, even though it was only the beginning of what would turn into an even bigger battle. Every video on House of History is manually animated from scratch. Only a handful of entries, preserved in sources like Jordanes’ Romana, the Chronicle of Marcellinus Comes, and the Paschal Chronicle, offer glimpses into the events. As with much of Hunnic activity in the Balkans, the evidence is fragmentary at best, allowing for no definitive reconstruction, only careful interpretation guided by strategic context and known patterns of warfare. 🎵 Music courtesy of Epidemic Sound 🎶 My referral link: https://share.epidemicsound.com/njr7j0 Machinima: Attila, Total War 🖼 Photos, paintings and imagery: Public Domain, Wikicommons #HouseofHistory #History
