How does shame impact your life? Do you know your own shame triggers? We all experience shame in our lives and it's a common negative feeling for most people, but the triggers can vary greatly from person to person, and even more so for autistic people. Shame prevents us from showing our authentic selves and for autistic people often results in masking. Our lives can be severely negatively affected if we don't learn how to deal with shame, so in this video, I share some common (and uncommon) shame triggers, one of my biggest triggers of shame, and how I overcome shame through 3 important things.
