Baking Soda Has Many Uses.....how about as a pesticide? Or maybe a fungicide? Today, let's look at how to use Baking Soda, or Sodium Bicarbonate, in the garden for an effective treatment against aphids, whiteflies, thrips, caterpillars, spider mites as well as prevention of fungal outbreaks such as powdery mildew. There are a few caveats (of course), but as always, we'll cover it all and let you make the most informed choice for your garden! And don't forget to spray a test leaf first to ensure no phytotoxicity!
