I was on the Tonight Show in 2000 with Groucho, the singing parrot. There was a writer’s strike, and animals became frequent guests for talk shows. He was a companion parrot that was donated to the company I was working for at the time. Groucho sings seven songs. He came to the company already singing the songs. While there, some of them were put on cue, and he learned to sing in new environments, like on TV. He was selective about who he would train with, and I was one of the trainers he liked. He is the third parrot, so watch the whole thing! Unfortunately, the audio has a few issues I can't fix. I have my own parrot who talks and sings.
