Beet Kvass Hello! Just know I did get a microphone and all videos AFTER this one will have much better sound. For now, please bear with me. I also did this on my IG channel. Guidelines: 2 - 8 cup containers (https://amzn.to/3Cfwanu) 2 fermenting tops (https://amzn.to/42iGqpl) 2 lb of beets (ideally red for the color but golden works too) 2-4 tsp of salt Patience Chop up your beets. DO NOT PEEL YOUR BEETS. Add 1 lb per container. Add 1-2 tsp of salt. Add spices if you like. Ideas: cloves, fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom. Get creative here. Top with water. Let it sit for 1 week or more. I let mine sit for 2-4 weeks. Strain and place in bottles Refrigerate Enjoy! What to do with the beets discard: Finely chop in a food processor Use on top of salad, soups or along side your meals. Drink idea: Mix with sparkling water and a twist of lemon or orange or something you come up with!
