This hearty dish is slow-simmered to perfection, creating tender, flavorful beef in a deeply savory broth with hints of malt from Guinness stout. Cooking With Tammy Seasoning: https://cookingwithtammy.shop/ Royalty Princess Gems: https://www.royaltyprincessgems.com/ Beef Stew Recipe 4 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubed Salt & pepper to taste 3 tbsp Cooking with Tammy All-Purpose Chicken Seasoning 2 tbsp Cooking with Tammy Garlic & Herb Seasoning 3 tsp Cooking with Tammy Barbecue Seasoning (adds a smoky depth) 2 tbsp oil (olive or vegetable) 1 medium onion diced 1 shallot diced 4 cloves garlic, minced 3 tbsp tomato paste 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp flour (for thickening) 4-6 cups beef broth 1 (12 oz) bottle Guinness Stout 3 large carrots, peeled and cut into chunks 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 2 celery stalks, chopped 1 tsp dried thyme 3 bay leaves Chopped parsley (for garnish) Instructions: Season & Brown the Beef: In a bowl, toss beef cubes with All-Purpose Chicken, Creole, and Barbecue Seasonings. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pot and sear beef in batches until browned. Remove and set aside. Build the Flavor: Add remaining oil, onions, and garlic to the pot. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and flour; cook for 1-2 minutes to remove raw flour taste. Create the Stew Base: Pour in Guinness Stout and deglaze the pot, scraping up any flavorful bits. Add beef broth, bay leaves, thyme, and Cajun Seasoning. Stir well. Simmer & Cook: Return browned beef to the pot. Cover and simmer for 1.5 hours over low heat. Add carrots, potatoes, and celery; cook for another 45 minutes until tender. Final Touch: Adjust seasoning with salt & pepper if needed. Remove bay leaves. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes!
