I might regret making this video. Many people have told me it is best to wait until emotions calm down before putting pen to paper. After seeing the recent Fallout Day announcement, I decided to sleep on it. I went to sleep angry and woke up angry. Bethesda used to be one of the most respected studios in gaming, the creators of masterpieces like Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout 3. But somewhere along the way, something changed. From the disastrous launch of Fallout 76 to endless re-releases, paid mods, and ignored feedback, the studio that once defined RPGs seems lost. In this video, I look back at what made Bethesda great, where things started to fall apart, and why so many lifelong fans feel completely disillusioned today. This isn’t hate. It’s heartbreak.
