I was sceptical about this work when it was first released, especially because of all the hype around it. But it has grown on me, and I now I see it for what it truly is. A decade, if not century, defining classic. Building on so many genres and influences, Beyoncé and her amazing co-producers and musicians have produced a giant of a work that can stand up against the best. If the Beatles double 'white album' helped define them, then maybe Cowboy Carter will do the same for Beyoncé? They both explore an incredibly eclectic mix of genres, and Beyoncé, like The Beatles, nailed each and everyone of them, making each 'her own'. Enjoy.
