Here's my general strategy for this, there might be other ways but this is how I approached it: -The early game is super important. Start with hallway to get it out of the draft pool without losing any keys later in the level. It also allows you to move up the west wing while also farming. If you get a corridor in the middle entrance hall door, you can move up that way instead, but you need to turn left at some point because of garage. -After that, immediatly look for nursery or kitchen + some money. If you get drawing room early, get it out of the draft pool to increase the chance of getting those rooms. This also increases the chance of seeing The Pool later. Don't bother with lab experiment, if you get a convenient lab spawn you can go for it, but don't force it, it's not realiable. I was very tight on steps this run because I didn't find nursery until later, ideally you can have more steps by rank 4 or 5 than what I had here -The ONLY viable antechamber option is secret garden. If you don't get secret garden key from billards, reset the attempt IMMEDIATLY. Great Hall costs too many keys for curse mode and secret garden gives you food. -As for the free rooms, the priority (from most to least important) for dead-ends is roughly the following: Guest, utility, closet, storeroom. Guest bedroom should be self-explanatory, utility closet is required for garage and because we're going for minimal drafts (to avoid getting spammed with red rooms later on) you might not be able to draft it later if you postpone it. Closet can give good items like sleep mask or sledgehammer but it's not very reliable. Storeroom can be higher priority than closet depending on how far up you are in the house. Since you don't need any keys in the early ranks, you might want to postpone it a bit so that you don't lose a key if you have to draft west wing hall or corridor (I wasn't able to prevent it in this run, but sometimes you can) . Same logic applies to nook, parlor, pantry and billards are higher priority. IF you can, save bedroom and boudoir for after you get nursery. -Get garage as soon as you can. After that, just rush to the antechamber, don't bother farming unless you absolutely need to. Head towards the secret garden and hope that you find a pool or foundation along the way. Note that pool is more likely to spawn if you have drafted the commonplace gem-cost rooms, usually nursery, kitchen, courtyard, drawing room and security will do the trick. Nursery and drawing room are nice because you get your gem back, kitchen is nice for steps, and courtyard can have nice items (be careful if you lose an extra gem because of courtyard). Finally, if you have pool, try to draft pump room in the corner as it has the highest chance of spawning there.
