S. Bajwa, Sudesh Berry as Sepoy Bhairon Singh, Tabu as Kamla Singh, Raakhee as Mrs. Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, Pooja Bhatt as Rukmini, and Sharbani Mukherjee as Lakshmi. The plot is set during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War and is based on the real-life Battle of Longewala. A small battalion of 120 Indian soldiers, led by Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri, is stationed at the Longewala border post in the Thar Desert. They are attacked by a much larger Pakistani force consisting of 2000 soldiers and tanks. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the Indian soldiers use their courage, determination, and strategic skills to defend their post and repel the enemy attack.
