In this story the boys get lost in the woods, then camp out in an abandoned kids school bus and fix its emergency lights. In parallel, mom looks for the boys in a helicopter, follows clues that they have left out, and rescues them! Then we play a fun game with Bruder toys on an outdoor camping adventure. Kid crew and Dad are on a hike and get lost. They forget their map, their phone isn’t working, and it’s getting dark. So instead of wandering, they need to improvise a camp! They find an abandoned school bus in the woods and check it out. Then they start to make camp after they make an emergency signal with their whistle. Unknown to them, mom hears it and starts to get the Kid Crew helicopter ready to search for them. Next the boys remove trees and shrubs and even have to saw away a tree that was going through the bus. Then they start to figure out how to get the kids school bus warning lights to flash as an emergency signal. But there’s no battery! Never fear though, as dad and Kid Crew MacGyver a bus battery from tiny flashlight batteries placed in series. It really worked! They also made a ground signal with pieces of the bus that an aircraft could see. Mom finally gets the helicopter ready and takes off. Then the boys cook dinner and get in their sleeping bags in the bus to spend the night. But they’re woken up by mom’s helicopter and turn on the warning lights! She sees them, lands, and rescues them! Then we play along at home with Bruder trucks. The RV is driving though a desert and breaks down. The driver foolishly leaves it behind and tries to walk, but can’t handle the heat. Luckily a park ranger sees the empty RV and calls into headquarters for them to investigate. Another ranger drives out to the RV in a truck and spots the driver. He brings them into the shade and gives him water. In the educational segment we learn how voltage works. PS – Dads advice is to pack so you can spend the night if you will be going into the woods. You don’t need it to be a comfortable night, but unfortunately some daytime adventures don’t go as expected. And always tell someone where you are going. Come pretend play with us! Join us kids, toddlers, girls, and boys as we use our ride on toy trucks, toy tractors, and toy equipment to do construction, farming, and home improvement pretend play projects.
