A mix of independently shot silent home movie footage primarily from the 1920s-1940s, along with produced footage up to the 1970s. All scans/transfers and processing done in-house from original film on custom frame-by-frame scanner. No AI tools used. Edited, framed & color-corrected in Resolve, with soundtracks arranged from public domain & licensed music for most silent ones. 16mm Frame resolution is ~1400p-1800p scaled to 2160p for higher quality on YT. 8mm ~1200p. 100 ft. Kodak Cinegraph Release of Chip the Wooden Man in "Candyland", one of a series of silent stop motion animated shorts produced by Kinex Studios. The short involves Chip riding off to Candyland to make up for knocking a girl's candy into the water. Print dates to 1929, I believe the film release was the same year. Very little information is available regarding these Played back at 16 FPS, if that feels slow then 1.25x speed = 20 FPS & 1.5x = 24 FPS. Applied light flicker reduction and stabilization to make it a smoother watch; the title was warped as well.
