Colombian Senator Miguel Uribe, a 2026 presidential hopeful, was shot multiple times, reportedly twice in the head, during a campaign event in Bogotá on Saturday. Uribe, 39, is in serious condition at a local hospital. The Colombian Attorney General’s Office said that "a minor under 15 years of age was arrested carrying a Glock pistol-type firearm.” Colombia President Gustavo Petro ordered an investigation into who had ordered the attack.
