Creepy Dinosaur Theme Park Rides

If you're a theme park fan, you're probably aware of the Ford Magic Skyway, an attraction developed by Disney for the Ford pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair. The attraction featured a segment where riders went back in time to encounter dinosaurs and this later inspired the Universe of Energy, an attraction that opened with Epcot. In the 90s as Universal was developing Jurassic Park attractions, Disney attempted to compete with Dinoland USA and Countdown to Extinction with the opening of Animal Kingdom. Even today, Universal continues to build dinosaur attractions with the Jurassic World theme. What about all of the other dinosaurs attractions though? The stuff you might not know much about like traveling dinosaur animatronic exhibits made famous by Dinamation, or Dino Quizine, a restaurant that was literally a ride back through time. There are also a number of attractions that feel like lower-budget emulations of the Universe of Energy, such as the dinosaur segment on the Phantasialand Jet, the Dawn of Time in the Blackpool Tower, Universum der Energie at Europa Park and the spectacular Kingdom of the Dinosaurs at Knott's Berry Farm. In today's video, I wanted to explore the weirder side of dinosaur attractions, because there's a lot more out there then you might think.
