He believes the metal may be approaching a "crossing the rubicon moment," but emphasized that its move comes amid a much broader transition. "We have a big anomaly coming up in the financial system — it's apparent to almost everyone at this point in time, and I don't think we can go muddling along as we have been for so many years, kicking the can down the road," he said.
