"Christoph 42" ist der einzige Rettungshubschrauber in Schleswig-Holstein, der 24 Stunden am Tag einsatzbereit ist und auch in der Dunkelheit abhebt. Er ist in Rendsburg stationiert und kann aufgrund seiner Lage mitten in Schleswig-Holstein innerhalb von Minuten auch die Nord- und Ostseeinseln erreichen. Die fliegende Intensivstation wird von der von der DRF Luftrettung betrieben. Das NDR-Team hat drei Schichten der Luftrettung rund um die Uhr begleitet. © NDR 2018
