Seit dem Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts fährt auf der auf Usedom die Eisenbahn. Ursprünglich bis 1945 über Ducherow und Swinemünde. angeschlossen. Die politische Nachkriegsordnung ließ eine Inselbahn entstehen, die nur über die Wolgaster Fähre erreichbar war. Wir haben eine umfangreiche Dokumentation über die Geschichte zusammengestellt.
