DIY Living Room Transformation | Cozy Vintage with Thrifted Decor

I talk about my regret with the paint color I originally chose after installing box trim/picture frame molding, and how it completely changed the feel of the room—in the wrong way. After testing multiple paint samples and lots of tedious swatching, we painted two coats of primer and tried another color, only for that one to look off as well. Finally, after using Samplize peel-and-stick paint samples, we landed on White Dove by Benjamin Moore, which was the perfect choice for this space. From there, I fill the room with thrifted and secondhand furniture, choose curtains, hang a vintage-inspired gallery wall, DIY refinish antique furniture, and style my antique curved glass tiger oak cabinet from Facebook Marketplace.
