Today I’m fixing our sketchy Starlink setup and installing a StarV flat roof mount plus the StarV 12V→48V power solution for a rock-solid, off-grid connection. I show the full install on my roof rack (Unistrut), fit a Scanstrut cable gland to keep the OEM cable and stay watertight, wire the DC Mini Link with a relay + switch, and explain why my old “dash mount + cig socket” was driving me mad (rattles, inconsistent signal, not great while moving). This mount is marine-grade stainless, powder-coated, locks the dish in with security bolts, and looks CLEAN.
