DSDS kehrt Ostern 2026 mit Staffel 22 zurück! RTL geht damit erneut auf die unterhaltsame und spannende Suche nach "Deutschlands Superstar". In diesem Jahr werden die Talente von Chefjuror Dieter Bohlen, Ballermann-Königin Isi Glück und Rap-Legende Bushido im RTL-Sendezentrum in Köln-Deutz gecastet. Ausgestrahlt werden die insgesamt zehn neuen Folgen der Casting-Show, inklusive drei Live-Shows in Köln, ab dem 4. April 2026, immer samstags und dienstags um 20:15 Uhr bei RTL. Die Folgen 1 und 2 sind am 4. April bereits vorab auf RTL+ verfügbar und die weiteren Episoden dann jeweils dienstags und samstags.

In der vierten Castingshow von "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" 2018 beharrt sie darauf, den Whitney-Houston-Song "I Have Nothing" zu singen. Das gefällt Dieter Bohlen überhaupt nicht, doch Marie bleibt eisern. Zum Glück, denn ihr Auftritt lässt den Poptitan ganz schön blass aussehen. Als Marie vor die DSDS-Jury tritt, wirkt sie auf den ersten Blick wie ein kleines, schüchternes Mädchen. Doch der Schein trügt, denn die 16-Jährige weiß genau, was sie will. Den Song "I Have Nothing" von Whitney Houston singen zum Beispiel. Dieter Bohlen musste sich schon viele misslungene Houston-Interpretationen anhören und hält Maries Songauswahl für keine gute Idee: "Ich weiß genau, wie es ausgeht."
