It affects pretty much every bone in the body but specifically your teeth and collarbones. He used to have a set of baby teeth. They're going to fall out, and then later they have a set of adult teeth. As a kid, Gaten's teeth started going out of control, and because many dentists had never seen CCD before, they began treating him carelessly. Eventually, Gaten's found specialists who understood his condition, but the treatments he needed to protect his health and the process was extremely painful. Sadly, this was only the beginning. Gaten has talked about how the bones in his legs curve inward, causing discomfort and making long days on set physically painful.
