So viele Kellys hat es so noch nie bei RIVERBOAT gegeben: Gleich zu sechst kamen sie, denn es gab etwas zu feiern: Im Oktober 2019 erschien das Jubiläums-Album der Kelly Family „25 Years Later“. Vor 27 Jahren gelang ihnen der große Durchbruch mit „Over the Hump“. Über Nacht wurden sie zu Teenie-Stars. Für die Straßenmusiker, die im Doppeldecker-Bus durch Europa reisten, war nach 1994 nichts mehr wie vorher. Nach gut 18 Jahren Pause entschieden sich 2017 sechs der Kelly-Geschwister zu einem Comeback – und dieses übertraf alle Erwartungen. Vieles hat sich über die Jahre geändert, doch die Verbundenheit der Geschwister ist auch heute noch spürbar.
