In case you're wondering what happens if you decide to keep them both, the ending will be similar to that. I chose to travel with Astarion and come to visit Halsin sometimes. For me, I imagine that in those six months Durge and Astarion would have moved close to Halsin and would be helping to build this community. Astarion was less present, but we know that deep down he's a love pie. It made sense to me that way, it's just bad that neither of them recognizes the relationship Durge has with the other, it would be a nice touch.
