Making it like it used to be.

Video Description

I was invited to Toolroom Takeover 2025 and, lucky me, I was chosen to gift the Boss. Some say the draw wasn’t rigged, but after running that Python script five times and getting the exact same output, I have my doubts. Anyway, I had big plans for the Boss — only challenged by the fact that 2025 is one of those years with only 12 months. That, and the videos had to be out in August. Mid August, "not the end" - I was told. Oh, and there was something about the shipping time... Between the drawing and sending my "gift", I had 1 week to make this project. I feel like it was more like 5 days. Part time. Don't expect much. For the same reason, there wasn't much time to make a proper educational video, so today you're getting something else. Call it entertainment? 500V is a lot to play with, especially when you have a very basic understanding of electronics. "Safety first" is not only a great motto, but also something I didn’t have time to address in this *entertainment* video. Seriously, building amplifiers is cool, but you can die. If you do, I had nothing to do with it. Finally, I got something from Alec Steele, and got my MK1 Mini out of the garage for the first time in 5 years. Would you like to see it more often? Let me know. ---------------------------------- Erik's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4w1tHTNnhc Alec Steele's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH8rD7gCjv0 Toolroom Takeover 2025 playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2ISTNaXIkzC2s9OMVn2EnkT_c3g7JU9- ---------------------------------- Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/nbrworks ---------------------------------- Checkout Uraltone's website: https://en.uraltone.com/ Uraltone specializes in music gear, including DIY amplifier kits and pedals for guitar, bass, and hi-fi amplifiers. ---------------------------------- KBC: https://www.kbctools.com/ Use discount code *60KBC1965NBR* at checkout for $60 off on orders over $250. I had to redesign several parts to make it work.
