Fallout 4 is a game filled with thousands of colorful characters, yet one face many players expected to see and didn't was that of Dr. Zimmer. Dr. Zimmer was a character players could meet in Fallout 3 and was among the first members of the Institute ever to appear in the Fallout universe. Sadly, despite occupying a prominent role in a Fallout 3 side quest, Dr. Zimmer did not return in Fallout 4 and many have wondered what happened to the Institute's oldest agent.
