Video Description
When Margit-Kristine Solibakke Klev, an architect working near the Norwegian town of Kongsberg, decided to design a home for her family, she enclosed the build in a commercial greenhouse kit to endure harsh winters at mild temperatures and to grow food all year thanks to a productive indoor garden. Inside the greenhouse home, the family grows figs, grapes, citrus, cherries, plums, and all sorts of veggies in the snow. The wooden home has a modern allure thanks to a kitchen that opens to the enclosed garden, allowing the children to play freely —even when temperatures are freezing outside. On winter days of -5°C (23°F), the greenhouse has heated up above 20°C (68°F) - the temperature when the glass roof opens up to cool things off - allowing Margit-Kristine to garden barefoot in mid-winter. www.outline-ark.no On *faircompanies: https://faircompanies.com/videos/family-wraps-homestead-in-greenhouse-to-warm-up-grow-food-all-year/
